RCF SUB 9007-AS Professional Bass Performance

The RCF SUB 9007-AS is engineered to produce the strong low-frequency output required by demanding professional sound systems. It features two 21-inch neodymium woofers housed in a durable, tour-grade Baltic birch cabinet. This combination provides the power and low-frequency extension needed for large live events and professional installations.

According to the manufacturer, the system delivers up to 141 dB maximum sound pressure level. Its frequency response extends from 20 Hz to 400 Hz, allowing it to reproduce deep bass frequencies while providing flexible integration with different line-array and full-range loudspeaker systems.

The subwoofer uses a powerful integrated digital amplifier rated at 7,200 watts peak and 3,600 watts RMS. Because amplification and digital processing are built into the enclosure, a separate external power amplifier is not required. This active design can reduce the number of external components needed in a touring or installed system and may simplify system setup.

Main Features and Specifications

The RCF SUB 9007-AS offers the following professional features:

* Two high-power 21-inch neodymium woofers
* Four-inch inside-outside voice coils

These specifications make the RCF SUB 9007-AS suitable for professional users who need substantial bass output, dependable construction and flexible system control. The integrated DSP provides useful tools for matching the subwoofer with the main loudspeaker system and adapting its performance to the venue.

Dual 21-Inch Neodymium Woofers

At the heart of the RCF SUB 9007-AS are two high-power 21-inch neodymium woofers. The large drivers are built to move a substantial amount of air, producing the low-frequency energy needed for electronic music, live bands, DJ performances, concerts and festival applications.

Each woofer uses a four-inch voice coil and a hyper-vented design intended to support reliable performance under demanding conditions. The neodymium motor design provides high output while helping control the total weight of the transducer assembly.

The subwoofer’s 20 Hz low-frequency extension helps reproduce deep musical content that smaller systems may not deliver with the same authority. When properly configured by an experienced sound engineer, multiple units can be used to provide greater coverage and output for larger venues.

Integrated Amplification and DSP Control

The built-in digital amplifier makes the RCF SUB 9007-AS a self-powered solution. Users do not need to purchase and transport a separate amplifier rack solely to power the subwoofer. This can make system deployment faster while reducing the amount of external cabling and equipment required.

Its DSP-controlled input section offers selectable presets and delay adjustment. These controls are helpful when aligning the subwoofers with line-array elements or configuring several cabinets as part of a larger system.

RDNet connectivity provides compatible remote monitoring and control. Sound engineers can use RDNet to manage supported system settings from a central location. This feature is especially useful in professional touring environments where several loudspeakers and subwoofers must be configured and monitored together.

Compatible RCF Line-Array Systems

The RCF SUB 9007-AS was designed to integrate with professional RCF D-Line systems. Its cabinet and integrated mechanics support configurations involving the RCF HDL 50-A 4K, HDL 20-A and HDL 10-A.

This compatibility makes the subwoofer a strong option for owners of RCF HDL line-array systems who want to expand their low-frequency capability. It can be used in properly designed stacked configurations, subject to the manufacturer’s instructions and the requirements of the venue.

Every sound system should be configured by a qualified technician. The correct number and placement of subwoofers will depend on the venue size, audience capacity, musical program, desired sound-pressure level and configuration of the main loudspeakers.

Designed for Touring and Professional Events

A professional touring subwoofer must withstand frequent transportation, setup and operation. The RCF SUB 9007-AS uses a Baltic birch cabinet designed for demanding live-production environments. Its durable enclosure helps make it appropriate for rental inventories, production companies, concert venues and mobile event systems.

Optional transport and protection accessories may include a wheel board, protective cover and amplifier rain cover. Availability of accessories should be confirmed before purchasing because included items may vary between individual units or packages.

This model can be used for applications such as:

* Concerts and live music productions
* Festivals and outdoor events
* Touring sound systems
* DJ and electronic music events
* Nightclubs and entertainment venues
* Houses of worship
* Theaters and performance spaces
* Professional AV rental inventories
* Large corporate events
